Christie’s America Holds Rare Auction Featuring Harry Winston

Christie’s America has just announced that it will hold an exhibit in Los Angeles for two days only next week on Wednesday, March 13 and Thursday, March 14, before returning to New York for a two session auction on April 16. This extraordinary preview is drawn from multiple private collections and features 60-70 select pieces by top jewelry designers with a special emphasis on pieces by the “King of Diamonds” Harry Winston. Christie’s senior jewelry specialists Leslie Roskind and Tom Burstein will be on hand to answer any questions at this exclusive viewing.

On April 16, Christie’s New York will kick off the spring jewelry auction season with a colorful selection of stunning jewels, from flawless diamonds to natural pearls, ruby rings and emerald necklaces, all from the finest makers. An emerald and diamond necklace by Harry Winston, a D-color pear-shaped diamond ring of 15.99 carats by Van Cleef & Arpels, and an amethyst, emerald and diamond bangle bracelet by David Webb are among the star lots of Christie’s upcoming Magnificent Jewels sale.
