Representing south group one

Adaliz Martinez took 1st place in the South! Both Jetset Magazine and the B+ Foundation would like thank you for your help in supporting families dealing with childhood cancer.

What would you do with $100,000 in cash & prizes?

I would initially pay off any existing school debt as well as my mortgage. I would then create a non-profit organization focusing on health and wellness, due to having both my parents die from cancer. The quality of water in this world needs to improve, as well as the education of proper nutrition. This would have given both my parents a fighting chance. In addition, I'll invest in various profitable companies that'll allow me and my childrens future and education to be financially secure.

What has been your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement was overcoming the adversity of losing my mother at a very young age. This was the hardest time of my life. Shortly after, I became a mother myself to two amazing boys. I was able to move forward, achieve success, and become someone my parents would be proud of.

What is your edge over the other candidates?

I see this competition not as one against any other candidate, but instead a challenge for myself. I'm always striving to be my best, and give anything that I do my all. I feel having this mentality gives me a huge edge over the other candidates as my focus is being the best version of myself.
