Tanya Slusser took 11th place in the West! Both Jetset Magazine and the B+ Foundation would like thank you for your help in supporting families dealing with childhood cancer.
I would first and foremost help my parents who have believed, encouraged and supported all of my dreams and aspirations. I would also use the money to assist in purchasing some investment property and also donate to The Be Perfect Foundation which is a non-profit that sponsors individuals that are living with paralysis caused by chronic injury or illness. I am passionate about this community as I am a Paralysis Recovery Specialist. Lastly, I would continue to pursue my dream of becoming a model! Why should you be voted Miss Jetset?
I have a burning desire to be an example for young women all over the world. I want to show them that beauty is all encompassing and it exudes from the inside out. I want to prove that if you work hard, maintain good relationships and do the right thing that your dreams will come true. To have this platform to pursue my goals, give back to a community I’m passionate about and set a standard for young woman would be a dream come true. What is your edge over the other candidates?
My edge over the other candidates is my passion and resilience. Growing up playing Division 1 soccer, I learned the importance of these two things. I do not excel in anything unless I have passion for it, and when I get knocked down..I stand up and fight. I am passionate. I am resilient. I am strong! I have the strength it will take to be the guiding light that JetSetMag can utilize to empower others.
