The Cove at Atlantis: Absolut Elyx Event Weekend

As travel continues to make its triumphant return, hotels and resorts around the world are welcoming guests back to their destinations with a variety of elevated and safe experiences and special events that go beyond the ordinary and highlight the extraordinary.

The Cove at Atlantis, the 600-all-suite luxury resort in Paradise Island in The Bahamas, has been welcoming guests back to their oceanfront oasis, in style, all-summer-long with a series of exclusive events designed in collaboration with renowned spirits, fashion and entertainment partners. After launching two successful “Summer Solstice” events, in partnership with Perrier Jouet champagne and Luc Belaire sparkling wine and Bumbu Rum (May and July), The Cove closed out the summer season with a weekend-long takeover in partnership with premier vodka brand, Absolut Elyx, as well as a variety of luxury fashion brands.

When guests arrived at The Cove at the start of Labor Day Weekend (Thursday, September 2 and Friday, September 3), they were immediately greeted by an Absolut Elyx pop-up bar in the lobby, featuring specialty Moscow Mule cocktails, designed by the resort mixology team. In addition to the pop-up bar experience, guests of The Cove were exclusively invited to “The ELYXer Speakeasy” (Friday, September 3) at The Cove’s Seaglass lounge, which was designed in collaboration with Absolut Elyx and featured everything from a “Goddess of Elyx” hostess who painted head to toe in gold (talk about the ultimate photo opp!), specialty cocktails, swanky décor, light bites and handcrafted cigars by Graycliff. And the action didn’t end there. The main attraction of the weekend? An ultra-luxe Absolut Elyx garden party on Saturday, September 4.

On September 4, guests of The Cove headed to The Cove Pool’s (adults only) exclusive “Garden of Elyx” bash – an all-day poolside garden experience, featuring branded beachside cabanas, in partnership with the Absolut Elyx brand, specialty cocktails, local culinary delights from Sip Sip at The Cove (by Chef Julie Lightbourn), a poolside DJ, a gold henna tattoo lounge, a “retail garden” featuring Saint Laurent, Emilio Pucci, Carlo Milano, Etro and The Bahamas’ own Theodore Elyett. The resort also held a poolside fashion show with Bahamian models, featuring Theodore Elyett’s latest resort collection. Whether it was time relaxing in the pool with cocktail in hand, instagrammable photo opp moments at the floral hedge wall or trying on the best in resort wear, guests truly lived their best lives all-weekend-long.

The resort will continue to offer a variety of premier events, ranging from concerts to high-end retail experiences and spirits brand takeovers at The Cove, for both adults and families. For more information, please visit atlantisbahamas.com.
