One Thousand Ocean
One of South Florida’s most sought after and lauded properties. Only Six Residences Remain!
In the realm of luxurious oceanfront condominiums, it comes as no surprise that Boca Raton’s iconic One Thousand Ocean continues its impressive sales success, along with its notable significance regarding location, lifestyle and design. These factors, collectively, have propelled the uniquely modern, seven-story, boutique building into what many real estate specialists believe will be its final selling season with only six exquisite residences remaining.
As one of South Florida’s most sought after and lauded properties, One Thousand Ocean has thrived in the spotlight. The success of One Thousand Ocean led to the condominium’s prominent role on two separate episodes of HGTV’s highly rated reality series, “Selling New York.” In addition to being a TV ‘star,’ One Thousand Ocean plays a part on the silver screen in the action thriller “Parker” . The film’s producer selected the building and area around One Thousand Ocean’s sales center as the backdrop for some scenes with A-list actors Jennifer Lopez and Jason Statham.
Situated on the tip of a private peninsula in Boca Raton, One Thousand Ocean’s exterior ascends seven stories above a most coveted inlet. With its subtle curved design, surrounded by water on three sides, the building is in the perfect location for never-ending views.
Three finished residences are available for immediate occupancy. These one of a kind residences come with spacious terraces designed for entertaining, 10 to 12-foot ceilings, gourmet kitchen, and spa-like baths with appliances from the likes of Miele, Bosch, Dornbracht, and Toto. Adding to the luxury appointments are fireplaces and his-and-her walk-in dressing rooms with built-in “midnight snack” refrigeration. Plus, optional furnishings packages are offered to make their transition into the building even easier.
Three expansive Penthouses are available ranging from approximately 5,600 to 8,700 square feet of air-conditioned living space, with outdoor terraces adding approximately 3,600 to 4,500 square feet respectively. They provide stunning panoramas of sea, sky and city, and buyers may customize their designer-ready, unfinished Penthouse to carry out their grand visions.
Residents of One Thousand Ocean who elect private membership at the Boca Raton Resort & Club enjoy innumerable amenities and services, both at the resort and at One Thousand Ocean. As an example, due to the building’s proximity to the resort, member residents are able to opt for room service from the Beach Club in the privacy of their own home.
“With its subtle curved design, surrounded by water on three sides, the building is in the perfect location for never-ending views.”

Award-Winning Luxury Design
Life is too short to live in mediocrity… especially on vacation. So when it came time to design a vacation home, we turned to the experts. “I find my clients have an open sense of adventure and are more willing to explore design possibilities in a vacation home,” says Anita Lang, whose firm, IMI Design, has over 20 years of experience in luxury vacation and second homes.
Vacation homes begin by being drawn to a certain area: the beach, the mountains, the desert. This area was chosen due to the emotions it evokes in the client and the pleasure the natural surroundings bring them. The home should play to the architectural style and design that is true to the vernacular of the area that is either a fresh and innovative interpretation or a more traditional and historical expression. Using indigenous materials such as native wood species or stone quarried locally has truth for the geographical region. These natural materials have a beneficial effect not only aesthetically, but emotionally, as well. Incorporating local charm can be accomplished by playing to the regional artisan heritage; whether quilt making or woodworking, it can be implemented in an unexpected element.
“Designing for families is a facet of my design practice I especially enjoy. Thinking through the needs and lifestyle requirements of each member allows me to care for the family as a whole,” Lang states. One such example is when she plans multipurpose spaces with impromptu sleeping areas such as alcoves and benches that fold into beds to accommodate large numbers of family members and guests. By incorporating textures and materials such as reclaimed wood and indestructible metals, the character of the space improves with the patina of time and the wear and tear of family life. “Vacations are fun, so it’s important to make it easy and carefree in maintenance and use,” she adds.
In the end, the most wonderful aspect of interior design is its ability to create an emotional response. As Lang states, “Use the power of design to create a spectacular living environment that aspires to the experiences you want you and your family to have.”
