Bristol Adventure Alaska: Immerse Yourself in an Up-close Adventure

Bristol Adventures

We deliver immersive, up-close, and personalized adventures in some of the world’s most stunning terrain here in Bristol Bay Alaska. Our locally-based teams are not only knowledgeable, we get to know our guests individually and tailor every experience to exactly what you’re seeking, craving, or dreaming. You’ll connect with the land, nature and wildlife, with our people, and with the area’s rich history and culture. You’ll want to return again and again — bringing friends, building your own traditions, and becoming part of the Bristol Adventures family.

We are a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Native Corporation that entered tourism in 2012 with Mission Lodge on the West side of Bristol Bay. By maintaining the integrity of the program and enhancing the facilities, Mission Lodge continues to set the bar for fly-out sport fishing lodges. Two seasons ago, we combined our Native heritage in the Katmai region with the Peterson family legacy of pioneering the fly-out lodge industry in 1950. This adds three more renowned lodges to our quiver.

Mission Lodge is easily considered to be Alaska’s finest fly-out lodge operation. Located in the heart of the Bristol Bay region of Southwest Alaska, we are within easy flying distance to the finest waters in the state.

Depending on the week we target five species of Pacific Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Dolly Varden, Arctic Grayling, Lake Trout and Northern Pike and most any combination thereof. If you and your group are interested in a all-inclusive, luxury experience, without comprising great fishing, this may well be your kind of place.

We are committed to providing the best service possible with the ultimate goal being to have fun while catching lots of fish!

Kulik Lodge is located in a spectacular wilderness setting inside Katmai National Park and pioneered the fly-out lodge business. Superb fishing is available adjacent to the lodge on the Kulik River in addition to flying out by float plane to other amazing fisheries throughout the region.

These trips includes round trip air transportation between Anchorage and Kulik Lodge. Like Mission, it is all-inclusive remote lodge experience that caters to the every need of the traveling angler in a more remote and classic rustic setting.

At Grosvenor Lodge, expect seclusion, an intimate setting and comfortable accommodations. Also expect great fly fishing for Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Lake Trout, Northern Pike and Sockeye Salmon.

Grosvenor truly provides the “it feels like my own fishing lodge” experience and is ideal for families, business associates or a group of fishing buddies.

Brooks Lodge sits on the famous Brooks River in the heart of Katmai National Park. The lodge was originally conceived as a fishing camp, and is now a world famous bear viewing destination too.

Superb sport fishing on the Brooks River and on the Brooks and Naknek Lakes can be geared towards independent minded fly fishermen, with optional guided fishing on the Brooks River, adjacent lakes or fly-outs to additional streams in the region.

Katmia Air is our air service that provides transportation to each of our lodges aboard a float equipped seaplane or wheeled aircraft either from our offices in Anchorage or through our office in King Salmon. They offer air transportation to Brooks from Anchorage or King Salmon on a daily basis throughout the summer season. Flight seeing trips, aircraft charters and fly outs to remote fishing locations can also be arranged.
