Tahoe Beach Club

On the southeastern shore of Lake Tahoe, a new, private residential community has just begun its marketing and reservation program, marking the first lakefront residential community approved on the lake in more than 30 years. Tahoe Beach Club will feature 148 condominium residences and a private Beach Club with all the amenities of a luxury resort located on a private sand beach on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Tahoe Beach Club is now accepting reservations for 48 premium Phase I residences located nearest the beach. All Phase I purchasers are considered Tahoe Beach Club Founders, which affords the advantage of significant benefits and incentives.

Located on the southeastern shore of Lake Tahoe in Nevada, Tahoe Beach Club is surrounded by 300 acres of private meadows to the north and to the south by the Edgewood Tahoe resort and golf course, renowned for its beauty, lakeside setting and home for the past 25 years to the beloved American Century Celebrity Golf Championship. Tahoe Beach Club is also just minutes from the nearby Heavenly Ski Resort and all the excitement, entertainment and dining found in South Lake Tahoe. In recognition of the opportunity and responsibility that comes with building a premier residential/club community on Lake Tahoe, the developers of Tahoe Beach Club have designed a community to last for generations – modern and appealing to today’s active families but respectful to the timeless style, natural beauty and history of Lake Tahoe. Tahoe Beach Club will be LEED-certified and significant attention will be paid to improving and maintaining this rare lakefront property.

“We are honored to have such a significant project for Lake Tahoe under our stewardship,” said Bob Mecay, principal of the Tahoe Beach Club development group. “Throughout the entire planning process we have taken significant measures to care for the environment and preserve the natural beauty of the land. We are working to design a premier destination that will resonate well with the modern lifestyle and environment families are looking for today, whether in a second or full time residence; a place that’s also envisioned with a goal of creating a legacy community in Tahoe that will remain relevant through generations. And finally, we are thrilled to be a part of the new life of Lake Tahoe’s South Shore, which continues to grow into a vibrant hub for recreation and entertainment.”

Central to life at Tahoe Beach Club is The Beach Club, designed by renowned architect John Sather of Swaback Partners, known for high-profile projects such as the Family Barn and Camp Lodge at Martis Camp (Truckee, CA) and The SHED at Promontory Club (Park City, UT). The 32,000 square foot building, situated just steps from the private sand beach, will house the fine dining restaurant, Beach Bar & Grill, a yoga and Pilates pavilion, a premier fitness facility, business center, concierge services, and a full-service spa. On the surrounding grounds, members, owners and their guests will enjoy a private sand beach with Cabanas and fire pits, a 160-foot floating pier, boat valet service and an infinity-edge pool overlooking Lake Tahoe.

Condominium residences of two to five bedrooms will be clustered together in small groups meandering through the property, nestling into the existing environment. The residences are being designed in a clean modern style by Collaborative Design Studio (known regionally for the Lone Eagle building at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, Nevada) in conjunction with TRH Interior Design. Materials have been creatively layered – wood abuts stone and metal, creating a textural vibrancy. Throughout the homes, custom lighting, wide expanses of windows, large decks, fine appliances and appointments all speak to an elevated, active and relaxing lifestyle while maintaining an understated elegance.

The first phase of construction will include 48 condominium homes priced from $1 million plus to $5 million. Reservations are now being accepted and for a limited time, Founding Memberships with exclusive privileges are available.
