Stylishly appointed suites, adorned in alpine tones and natural materials such as stone and wood, envelop guests in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Lounge the morning away on a luxurious wool sofa in muted gray tones, emphasized by industrial-chic hanging lighting. The whole look is both rustic and richly luxurious. The bathroom, with dark stone worktops, tiles, and glass doors, is gloriously modern, and an open closet section gives additional storage for wet swim or ski items. Each room is thoughtfully designed to evoke a sense of serenity and comfort, providing the perfect sanctuary after a day of mountain adventures.

If you want to go all out or entertain a large party in elegance, the Penthouse Suite sleeps two to fifteen people and occupies a whole floor of the resort. It’s ideal for lavishing yourself or entertaining big groups—think six king-sized beds, six bathrooms, a private heated pool, and a sauna. Whether lounging by the fireplace with a glass of fine wine or soaking in panoramic views from a private balcony, every moment at Das Edelweiss is a testament to understated luxury.

At the heart of Das Edelweiss Mountain Resort lies a culinary experience that celebrates the rich flavors and traditions of the Austrian Alps. Under the guidance of resident Sushi Master Alexis Savanx, guests are treated to a gastronomic adventure that embraces the essence of regional cuisine. Après ski takes on new meaning with Savanx at the helm. Regionality is key here—from succulent fish sourced from the Arler fish farm in Hüttschlag to the indulgent delights of Gillardeau oysters and caviar from Grüll in Grödig, each dish is a testament to the resort’s commitment to authenticity and quality. The Petrus Fine Dining Restaurant serves special five or seven course menus with perfectly paired wines. Sirloin Grill & Dine is the hotel-owned Steak Restaurant which is ideal for cozy evenings of status proteins and flame-kissed ribeye steaks. Tuck into flawless aged Black Angus, prepared in an open show kitchen and delivered straight to your table.

Breakfast is a revelation here, the spacious Edelweiss Mountain Restaurant is separated into cozy sections and music is minimal to allow for kindred conversation. The morning spread features incredible egg station, charcuterie as far as the eye can see, chewy dark breads and artisanal butter, as well as a whole chilled room devoted to nutritious smoothies, kombucha, and Champagne. We enjoyed morning swims in the swoon-worthy sports pool, but the warm water in the Adults Only infinity pool was the main aquatic draw. The infinity pool in the late evenings is a premium pleasure, enjoying the rejuvenating waters while gazing out over the valley and the setting sun. Naturally, the Edelweiss is also very family-friendly, with a Kids Club, an indoor pool, a baby water play area, a separate family wellness area with several saunas, and a large water slide park with five colorful water slides. They are designed for both children and adults who like an adrenaline boost.
