Ralph Lauren has announced plans to expand its hospitality portfolio with The Polo Bar Ralph Lauren in London, set to debut in 2028 at 1 Hanover Square. Following the success of the original New York Polo Bar, which opened in 2015 and quickly became an iconic dining destination, the London location will showcase Ralph Lauren’s signature blend of timeless elegance and warm, welcoming hospitality.
Speaking on the expansion, Ralph Lauren, Executive Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of Ralph Lauren Corporation, shared, “I have always been inspired by the special charm and heritage of the British way of living.” The new Polo Bar will reflect this influence through a design and dining experience that celebrates the sophistication and tradition of British culture.
The Polo Bar London also highlights Ralph Lauren’s deep-rooted connection to the UK. London is home to the brand’s first international flagship on New Bond Street, opened in 1981, and today hosts 12 Ralph Lauren stores, two Ralph’s Coffee locations, and a strong wholesale presence. The brand has become a cultural fixture in Britain, serving as the Official Outfitter of Wimbledon since 2006 and supporting the Ralph Lauren Centre for Breast Cancer Research at The Royal Marsden since 2016.
With this opening, Ralph Lauren’s global hospitality footprint will expand to six restaurants, joining locations in New York, Paris, Chicago, Milan, and Chengdu, along with over 40 Ralph’s Coffee outposts worldwide. Located in the heart of Mayfair, London, the Polo Bar Ralph Lauren is set to become more than a culinary destination, it will stand as a symbol of the brand’s enduring connection to British heritage and international style.
