Zeffiro 150: The Crown Jewel of ISA Yachts’ Catamaran Line

On the eastern coast of Italy, lapped by the gentle waves of the Adriatic Sea, the historic seaport city of Ancona bustles with activity. The port, which dates back to pre-Roman times, is protected by an elbow-shaped promontory for which the city gets its name. It is here that ISA Yachts has been building nautical works of art since 2001. In 2021 they entered the expanding powered catamaran market with the Zeffiro 130 and just recently announced the launch of the magnificent Zeffiro 150.

Why Catamaran?

A catamaran is a multi-hulled vessel featuring parallel hulls of equal size. The geometry of this design offers several advantages. Two of the more important advantages are increased stability and shallower draft. The latter grants access to otherwise unreachable destinations while you explore the ocean. Perhaps the most important aspect of the multi-hull design, with regards to yacht-life, is the increase in living area.

Zeffiro 150, By the Numbers

With a length of 150’ and a beam width of 47’ you and your guests will have all the space you could possibly need. The epitome of this is the massive owner’s suite on the upper deck. It features a 602-square-foot stateroom and a 645-square-foot saloon. A private aft deck on this level is the perfect spot for a peaceful cup of coffee in the morning or a romantic sunset.

When feeling social, guests can gather on the main deck which includes a grand saloon at almost 1,200 square feet and a more intimate 700 square foot family room. These areas showcase a cinema, games table and bar. Host an open-air party on this level’s aft deck — at a staggering 2,163 square feet it is the largest continuous space on the ship and boasts another bar, lounge chairs, and a dining table that can seat up to 10.

In addition to the owner’s quarters on the upper deck, the lower-level features two VIP suites and one twin cabin bringing the total sleeping capacity to eight guests. The crew’s berths are also on the lower level, on the opposite side of the ship.

Key Features

One of the first things you will notice when stepping aboard the Zeffiro 150 is the luxuriously appointed décor. Created by the esteemed French company of Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design, no details were overlooked. From the soothing, coastal color palette to the contemporary and functional materials used, every aspect lends itself to an overwhelming impression of timeless elegance.

Situated proudly across the bow in the forward cockpit section of the main deck is a large heated pool. This area is big enough to entertain all overnight guests. Enjoy a comfortable swim whenever you desire, even while navigating less tropical climes.

Any yacht worth owning is going to have a fair amount of storage and this fine vessel is no exception. It contains two garages for a 23’ tender, a full array of water toys and perhaps your own personal mini submarine.

Whether you are dropping anchor off the coast of Monaco or Milos, the highlight of your stop is going to be the aft “beach club” on the lower level. Two hydraulic platforms can be lowered from the port and starboard sides of the ship creating almost 900 square feet of recreational space. With a swimming platform, bar/lounge area and even its own diving club, this component of the Zeffiro 150 is sure to make your fellow yacht owners green with envy.
